The specific chemical composition range of HCT590X steel includes: Carbon (C) ≤ 0.15, Silicon (Si) ≤ 0.75, Manganese (Mn) ≤ 2.5, Phosphorus (P) ≤ 0.025, Sulfur (S) ≤ 0.015, Aluminum (Al) ≥ 0.015, Chromium (Cr) ≤ 0.3, Copper (Cu) ≤ 0.3, Molybdenum (Mo) ≤ 0.15, Nickel (Ni) ≤ 0.5, Titanium (Ti) ≤ 0.15, Niobium (Nb) ≤ 0.1.

 

The tensile strength range of HCT590X steel is 330-430MPa, and the yield strength is greater than or equal to 590MPa. The elongation at break is greater than 20%.

 

HCT590X steel is mainly used for structural components and parts in the automotive manufacturing industry, such as car bodies and frames, doors, hoods, and roofs.

 

HCT590X steel can be obtained in two states: hot-rolled and cold-rolled. It has the advantages of high strength, good formability, weldability, excellent anode coating quality, and aesthetic appearance.
