S280GD Hot Dip Galvanised Steels
S280GD+Z is a hot-dip galvanized steel plate that conforms to the EN 10147:1992 standard. Its chemical composition ranges from up to 0.20% carbon (C), 1.50% manganese (Mn), 0.60% silicon (Si), 0.080% phosphorus (P), and 0.080% sulfur (S). Its tensile strength is within the range of 360-470 MPa, with a yield strength of 280 MPa and a minimum fracture elongation rate of 16%.

S280GD+Z steel plate is used in the construction, automation and mechanical engineering industries for flooring, roofing and wall panels, equipment casings, pipes and ventilation ducts. It is also used for coolers and underground oil tanks. The most common forms of this steel plate are coils and engineering plates.
Some of the benefits of S280GD+Z steel plate include good corrosion resistance, increased strength and hardness due to the galvanization process and cost-effectiveness. However, the zinc coating may be vulnerable to damage in high-temperature environments and may peel or stick under certain conditions.
The international equivalent of S280GD+Z is DX54D+Z, and other corresponding names include ASTM A653 / A653M-15 CS Type B in the USA, JIS G3302-2010 SGCD1 in Japan and GB/T 2518-2008 Q195-Q345, DX51D + Z, SGCC in China.
