Standard and Grade Interpretation

Standard System:
Complies with the European standard EN 10025-2: 2004 (Hot-rolled products of structural steels), applicable to non-alloy and fine-grain structural steels.
S355JR is one of the most widely used low alloy high strength structural steel grades in this standard.

Grade Meaning:

S: Structural steel.

355: Yield strength ≥ 355 MPa (for thickness ≤ 16 mm).

JR: Impact performance grade (J indicates room temperature impact test, R denotes longitudinal sampling).
