Scope of application:
Mainly used for structural section steel, plates, bars and rivet materials in shipbuilding.

Ordinary strength grades: Include grades A, B, D, CS and E. The specified lower yield point is 34 ksi (235MPa). Different grades may have differences in toughness and are suitable for different parts of the ship's structure. For example, grade A is the most basic ordinary strength level and is used in parts where the strength requirement is not particularly high; grade E may be used in key parts with high toughness requirements.

High-strength grades: There are grades AH, DH, EH and FH. The specified lower yield points are 46 ksi (315MPa), 51 ksi (350MPa) or 57 ksi (390MPa) respectively. These high-strength grade steel plates can meet the usage requirements of ships in harsher environments. For example, large ocean-going cargo ships and oil tankers with high requirements for hull structure strength use these high-strength grades.
