Chemical Composition:
Manganese (Mn): The content is between 0.9 - 1.6%. Manganese can improve the strength and toughness of steel, which is very important for the use of ships in complex marine environments.
Phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S): The content of phosphorus is generally not more than 0.04%, and the content of sulfur is not more than 0.03%. Low phosphorus and low sulfur can improve the purity of steel and reduce the existence of inclusions, thereby improving the toughness and corrosion resistance of the steel plate.
