Based on strength levels

Low - temperature impact toughness grades: Such as those that can maintain good impact toughness at - 20 °C or even lower temperatures like - 60 °C. These grades are crucial for ships that navigate in cold regions to ensure the steel does not become brittle and fracture easily in low - temperature conditions.

 

Based on corrosion resistance performance

 

General corrosion - resistant grades: They have a certain degree of resistance to the corrosive effects of seawater and marine atmosphere. They are used in areas where the corrosion is not extremely severe but still requires some protection.
