Carbon (C): Content ≤ 0.16%.

Silicon (Si): ≤ 0.5%.

Manganese (Mn): Between 0.90 - 1.60%.

Phosphorus (P): ≤ 0.020%.

Sulfur (S): ≤ 0.020%.

Copper (Cu): ≤ 0.35%.

Chromium (Cr): ≤ 0.20% (some data shows ≤ 0.020%).

Nickel (Ni): ≤ 0.80%.

Niobium (Nb): 0.02 - 0.05%.

Vanadium (V): 0.05 - 0.10%.

Titanium (Ti): ≤ 0.02%.

Molybdenum (Mo): ≤ 0.08%.

Nitrogen (N): ≤ 0.009%.

Acid-soluble aluminum (Als): ≥ 0.015%.

Yield strength (≥ MPa): 355.

Tensile strength (MPa): 490 - 620.

Elongation after fracture (under a 200mm gauge length): ≥ 19%; under a 50mm gauge length: ≥ 22%.

 

Delivery Status: Usually delivered in normalized or controlled rolling state. Specific delivery status can be negotiated according to requirements.

 

Low-Temperature Impact Performance: The impact temperature is -60°C. It has good low-temperature toughness and can adapt to the cold marine environment.

 

Uses: Due to its high strength and good toughness, FH36 steel plate can be used to manufacture the hull structures of ocean-going, coastal, and inland waterway ships, shipyards, oil extraction platforms, marine transportation pipelines, coastal power plants, dock facilities and other structural components. It is suitable for withstanding strong winds and waves, high pressure, and low-temperature environments. It is often used to manufacture various types of ocean-going ships such as ocean-going cargo ships, oil tankers, and chemical tankers.
