The yield strength of AH36 is not less than 355 MPa, and the tensile strength is between 490-630 MPa. The yield strength of DH36 and EH36 is also within this range. But in terms of low-temperature impact toughness, DH36 and EH36 may have better impact absorption energy at lower temperatures according to different usage environments and classification society requirements. For example, DH36 can maintain good impact toughness at -20°C, and EH36 can still have good impact performance at -40°C.

Usage aspect: These three types of steel plates are all widely used in shipbuilding, such as hull structures, ship plates, decks, side plates and other parts. However, due to the advantages of DH36 and EH36 in low-temperature toughness, they may be more suitable for ships operating in cold seas or those with higher requirements for low-temperature performance.

ABS Grade AH36 steel plate (AH36 steel plate certified by the American Bureau of Shipping):

Production standard aspect: Although certified by different classification societies, they all follow strict quality control standards during the production process to ensure the performance and quality of the steel plate. The requirements for ABS Grade AH36 steel plate in terms of chemical composition, mechanical properties, and dimensional deviations are similar to those of RINA Marine Steel Plate Grade AH36 and all need to meet the relevant standards for high-strength marine steel plates.
