1185 aluminum has relatively low mechanical properties, with a yield strength of 40 MPa, tensile strength of 75 MPa, and elongation of 18%. 1185 aluminum is available in different conditions, including O, H14, and H18. O represents the annealed (soft) condition, while H14 and H18 refer to hardened (tempered) conditions.
