1. Surface Preparation

Cleaning:

Acid Pickling:

Immerse the steel plate in acidic solutions (e.g., hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid) to dissolve rust, scale, and oxides. This method achieves high cleanliness but results in a shallow surface profile (anchor pattern) and may cause environmental pollution if not properly treated.

Abrasive Blasting (Shot/Grit Blasting):

High-speed projection of abrasive materials (steel shot, grit, or mineral particles) onto the surface to remove rust, scale, and contaminants completely. It also creates a rough surface profile (anchor pattern) to enhance the adhesion of subsequent coatings.
