Chemical Composition
Carbon (C):0.13-0.19%, which balances strength and plasticity and avoids high carbon brittleness.
Silicon (Si):0.17-0.37%, which helps to optimize deoxidation and hot workability.
Manganese (Mn):0.30-0.60%, which also contributes to optimizing deoxidation and hot workability.
Sulfur (S):≤0.025%, and limiting the content of sulfur can ensure the purity of the material and its resistance to hydrogen embrittlement.
Phosphorus (P):≤0.025%, similar to sulfur, controlling the phosphorus content is also to ensure the quality of the material.
Chromium (Cr):1.35-1.65%, which can improve the hardenability, toughness and corrosion resistance of steel.

Mechanical Properties

Good Plasticity and Toughness:The elongation is ≥10%, the percentage reduction of area is ≥45%, the impact energy is ≥78 J, and the fracture toughness is excellent, indicating that the steel plate has good deformation ability and impact resistance2.
Hardness Gradient:In the delivery state, the hardness is ≤269 HB, which is convenient for cutting and processing. After carburizing, the surface hardness can reach HRC58-63, and the core hardness remains at HRC35-45, realizing a "hard shell and soft core" structure, which is beneficial to improving the wear resistance and service life of the material2.
