The tensile strength of C50 carbon steel is 700-850 MPa, the yield strength is 480 MPa, and the fracture elongation is 1%.
C50 carbon steel is mainly used to manufacture mechanical parts such as cutting tools, springs, gears, and shafts. It can also be used in automotive and motorcycle parts and some construction applications.
The condition of C50 steel includes hot-rolling and quenching states.
The advantages of C50 carbon steel include high strength, good cutting performance, and wear resistance.
The disadvantage is poor corrosion resistance, susceptible to corrosion media such as acid and alkali.
