The tensile strength of S355J2 steel ranges from 450 to 680 MPa, and the yield strength is 355 MPa. The fracture elongation varies under different conditions but is generally required to be no less than 22% at 20°C.
Its primary application is to manufacture large structures in engineering projects, such as buildings, machinery, vehicles, and shipbuilding. Additionally, it is widely used in the manufacturing of industrial pipelines, transmission towers, and oil and gas storage equipment.
