JR: Denotes J (impact test at +20°C) and R (rimmed steel, now obsolete; broadly used for general structural quality).

 

Classification: A high-strength low-alloy (HSLA) steel widely used in Europe and globally for demanding structural applications.

2. Key Characteristics

Can be cold-formed or hot-rolled into complex shapes (e.g., I-beams, channels) with minimal cracking.

Corrosion Resistance:
