Selection Guidelines

By Strength Requirement:

Moderate loads (buildings, simple bridges): Q345, S355, A572 Gr.50.

High loads (heavy machinery, skyscrapers): Q460, Q690, S690.

By Environmental Conditions:

Corrosive environments: Weathering steel (Q355NH, A588).

Low temperatures (≤-20°C): Grades with "D"/"E" suffixes (Q345D, S355K2).

By Processing Needs:

Welding/cold-forming: Prioritize low CE grades (Q345B, S355JR).
