SEM can provide more detailed grain surface morphology and grain boundary information.
Process Optimization Based on Microstructure: If coarse grains or abnormal microstructures are observed, the normalizing process parameters need to be adjusted. If the grains are coarse, it may be because the heating temperature is too high or the holding time is too long. The temperature can be appropriately reduced or the holding time can be shortened. If the Widmanstätten structure appears, it may be because the cooling rate is inappropriate.
