Chemical Composition

 

Main Elements and Their Contents: The maximum carbon (C) content is 0.21%. The maximum silicon (Si) content is 0.50%. The manganese (Mn) content is 2.5 times that of carbon. The maximum phosphorus (P) content is 0.035%, and the maximum sulfur (S) content is 0.035%.

Mechanical Properties

 

Yield Strength: ≥ 235MPa.

Tensile Strength: 400MPa - 520MPa.

Elongation: When the gauge length is 200mm, the elongation is ≥ 21%; when the gauge length is 50mm, the elongation is ≥ 24%.

Delivery Condition

 

Usually there are hot rolling, controlled rolling, TMCP (Thermo-Mechanical Control Process), normalizing, etc. According to the requirements of users, delivery conditions such as pretreatment, controlled rolling (CR), normalizing (N), quenching and tempering (QT) can be provided.

Tensile Test: It is used to detect the tensile strength, yield strength and elongation of the steel plate to ensure that it meets the requirements of strength and plasticity.

Impact Test: The impact test is carried out at the specified temperature to evaluate the toughness and impact resistance of the steel plate in the low-temperature environment. Usually, the longitudinal impact energy is required to meet certain standards.

It can obtain certifications from classification societies such as ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), LR (Lloyd's Register of Shipping), GL (Germanischer Lloyd), BV (Bureau Veritas), DNV (Det Norske Veritas), KR (Korean Register of Shipping), NK (Nippon Kaiji Kyokai), CCS (China Classification Society), and RINA (Registro Italiano Navale).
