Hot rolling uses slab (mainly continuous casting slab) as raw material. After heating, it is made into strip steel by the rough rolling mill group and the finish rolling mill group. In the rough rolling stage, the slab is initially rolled into an intermediate billet of a certain shape and size through a large reduction.
