Classification society certification inspection

Ensure that the AH32 marine steel plates have certifications from authoritative classification societies (such as ABS, LR, DNV, etc.). Different classification societies have strict standard requirements for the production process, chemical composition, and mechanical properties of the steel plates. For example, the ABS classification society has clear numerical range regulations for the yield strength, tensile strength, impact toughness, and other indicators of AH32 steel plates. Only steel plates that meet these standards can be used in shipbuilding to ensure the safety and reliability of the ship.

Quality document review

Carefully check the quality certification documents of the steel plates, including material certificates, mechanical property test reports, and chemical composition analysis reports. For example, the material certificate should clearly show that the steel plate's grade is AH32, and the yield strength is not less than 315MPa, and the tensile strength is between 440 - 570MPa and other key mechanical property parameters. The chemical composition analysis report should reflect that the contents of elements such as carbon (C), manganese (Mn), and silicon (Si) meet the corresponding standards.
