Cathodic Protection Technology

 

Sacrificial Anode Method: A more active metal (such as zinc blocks or magnesium blocks) is connected to the ship steel plates as a sacrificial anode. In the seawater electrolyte environment, the active metals such as zinc or magnesium are preferentially corroded as anodes, and the ship steel plates are protected as cathodes.
