EH32 and EH36 maintain good toughness and welding performance while having high strength and can be used for key structural parts of large oil tankers and container ships. EH40 and FH40 are suitable for more harsh marine environments and structures with higher strength requirements.

 

IV. Special-purpose shipbuilding steel
Corrosion-resistant steel:
Such as seawater corrosion-resistant steel, etc., it is used for parts of ships in special corrosive environments, such as the parts below the waterline of the hull and seawater cooling systems.
Low-temperature steel:
