Chemical Composition:

 

The maximum carbon (C) content is 0.21%.

The maximum silicon (Si) content is 0.50%.

The minimum manganese (Mn) content is 0.50%.

The maximum phosphorus (P) content is 0.035%.

The maximum sulfur (S) content is 0.035%.

The maximum copper (Cu) content is 0.35%.

The maximum chromium (Cr) content is 0.30%.

The maximum nickel (Ni) content is 0.30%.
Mechanical Properties:

The minimum yield strength (MPa) is 235.

The tensile strength (MPa) is between 400 and 520.The minimum elongation is 22%.
Applications: Mainly used in shipbuilding projects and offshore structure projects. For example, it is used for manufacturing ship hull structures, offshore platforms, etc.
