The certification process of classification societies usually includes the following main steps:

Construction inspection stage
Inspection of raw materials and equipment:
During the ship construction process, the classification society inspects the raw materials and equipment used. This includes steel, welding materials, mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, etc.
