I. Main Frame and Material Characteristics

Core Construction of Corten Steel

Made of Corten steel (e.g., Q355NH) with a thickness of 3-6mm, featuring self-corrosion resistance: When exposed to air, the surface gradually forms a 0.1-0.3mm dense oxide rust layer, preventing further corrosion while presenting a reddish-brown industrial texture that requires no extra painting for maintenance.

Exceptional high-temperature resistance, withstanding flames over 800℃ without affecting structural strength, making it suitable for long-term wood burning.

II. Core Structural Details

Bottom Ventilation System

Ventilation Holes: 4-8 circular or strip-shaped vents (1-2cm in diameter) are pre-set at the bottom, evenly distributed to promote air circulation, enhance wood combustion efficiency, and prevent smoke accumulation due to insufficient oxygen.

Detachable Ash Plate (Partial Models): A metal ash plate is installed above the vents to collect combustion ashes, preventing debris from blocking the vents and enabling regular cleaning (e.g., weekly sweeping with a long-handled brush).

Edge Treatment

The fire pit edges are typically rolled or beveled, with a thickness increased to 5-8mm for thermal insulation, avoiding burns when touched. Some high-end models feature carved patterns or geometric designs on the edges for enhanced decorativeness.

Bottom Support Structure

Small fire pits (diameter ≤50cm) adopt an integrated flat bottom design, directly placed on fireproof ground.
