Use low-hydrogen electrodes (e.g., E5015) for welding. Control heat input to minimize burnout of alloying elements (e.g., Cu, Cr) near the weld, which are critical for weather resistance.

Surface Cleaning:

Remove oil, rust, welding slag, and other contaminants using sandblasting, wire brushing, or specialized cleaning agents. A clean surface ensures uniform formation of the protective oxide layer.

2. Temporary Protection (for Long-Term Storage)
