Processing and Precautions

Processing Performance: 30CrMo has good machinability and moderate cold deformation plasticity. Its weldability is acceptable, but preheating to above 175°C is required before welding to avoid welding cracks and brittle fracture. It should be noted that 30CrMo is susceptible to the first type of temper brittleness in the temperature range of 300°C - 350°C.

Avoid Stress Concentration: In the design and processing of components, attention should be paid to avoiding stress concentration. Rational structural design and processing techniques should be adopted to improve the service life of components.

Prevent Surface Oxidation: After processing, 30CrMo alloy steel needs to be treated with anti-rust measures to prevent surface oxidation from affecting its performance.
