1.6747 Steel

 

1.6747is a steel grade in the European standard EN10083-3, mainly composed of carbon, chromium, nickel, molybdenum and other elements. The specific chemical composition is as follows:

- Carbon (C): 0.26-0.34%

- Silicon (Si): less than 0.40%

- Manganese (Mn): 0.50-0.80%

- Phosphorus (P): less than 0.025%

- Sulfur (S): less than 0.035%

- Chromium (Cr): 1.30-1.70%

- Nickel (Ni): 3.25-3.75%

- Molybdenum (Mo): 0.30-0.50%

- Boron (B): 0.002-0.005%

 

The tensile strength of this steel is ≥980 MPa, the yield strength is ≥785 MPa, and the fracture elongation is ≥10%, which belongs to high-strength steel.

 

1.6747 steel is widely used in the manufacture of high-strength mechanical parts and structural components, such as aircraft engine support brackets, car steering gears, machine tools, and large wheel hubs.
