- Manganese (Mn): 0.50-0.80%

- Phosphorus (P): maximum 0.025%

- Sulfur (S): maximum 0.035%

- Chromium (Cr): 0.90-1.20%

 

The tensile strength of 38Cr2 steel is 650-900 MPa, its yield strength is 410 MPa, and its elongation at break is 10-14%.
