The standard for QStE600TM steel is EN 10149-2. Its chemical composition is as follows:

The steel is mainly used to manufacture high-strength cold-formed and hot-formed car body parts, as well as vehicle axles and suspension systems. It is commonly available in hot-rolled, normalized, or normalized and tempered conditions.

 

The advantages of QStE600TM steel include high strength, good formability and weldability, and excellent corrosion resistance. However, it has the disadvantages of high cost and higher processing difficulty.
