E460 is often produced using:
Thermomechanical Controlled Processing (TMCP): To achieve fine-grained microstructure and high strength without excessive alloy content.
Quenching and Tempering (Q&T): For higher-strength variants, where the steel is heated, rapidly cooled (quenched), and then tempered to optimize toughness and strength.
Standards and Equivalents

EN 10149-2: High-strength thermomechanically rolled steels.
EN 10210-1-2: Structural hollow sections (e.g., rectangular or circular tubes).
Equivalent Grades in Other Regions:
China: Q620 or Q690 (quenched and tempered, with slightly higher yield strength).
