Type of medium

In seawater: Seawater is a complex electrolyte solution containing a large number of chloride ions (Cl⁻), sodium ions (Na⁺), magnesium ions (Mg²⁺), etc. Among them, chloride ions have strong corrosiveness, which can destroy the oxide film on the surface of AH36 steel, causing local corrosion phenomena such as pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion in the steel.
