Pre - production Preparation
Personnel and Protection: Furnace - front operators should wear complete personal protective equipment, such as safety helmets, safety glasses, earplugs, heat - resistant gloves, protective clothing, and safety shoes to ensure personal safety.
Equipment Inspection: Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the converter body and its auxiliary equipment, including the converter's tilting device, oxygen lance system, cooling system, charging system, taphole and surrounding equipment to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
Raw Material Confirmation: According to the production task list, verify the quantity and quality of raw materials such as hot metal, scrap steel, and alloys. Check the temperature and composition of hot metal to ensure that they meet the smelting requirements of CCSB steel.
Tool and Site Preparation: Prepare various operating tools, such as sampling ladles, slag - stopper balls, temperature - measuring guns, etc., and ensure that the tools are in good condition. Clean the area in front of the furnace, keep the ground clean and free of debris, and ensure the passage is unobstructed.
Charging Operation
Hot Metal Charging: Hoist the hot - metal ladle above the converter. After confirming the accurate position, slowly pour the hot metal into the converter. During the process of pouring hot metal, pay attention to controlling the flow rate and the landing point to prevent the hot metal from splashing and hurting people.
Scrap Steel Addition: Add scrap steel into the converter according to the proportion required by the process. The scrap steel should be evenly distributed in the furnace to avoid concentrated accumulation and affecting the smelting effect.
