Mining and Quarrying Industry

 

Ore Mining: During the mining process of open-pit mines and underground mines, components such as the buckets of excavators and the teeth of loaders need to frequently dig and load hard materials like ores and rocks. High-strength wear-resistant steel plates used for these components can effectively resist the friction and impact of ores, thus prolonging the service life of the equipment. For example, in a large open-pit iron mine, a bucket made of ordinary steel plates may need to be replaced within a few months due to severe wear, while a bucket made of high-strength wear-resistant steel plates (such as NM500) can have its service life extended to more than one year.

 

Ore Crushing and Screening: Equipment components such as the crushing chambers and hammers of crushers, as well as the screen plates of vibrating screens, need to withstand the high-speed impact and friction of ores. High-strength wear-resistant steel plates can maintain good performance in such high-wear environments.
