I. Cutting Processing

Precise cutting of S355J2 steel plates according to the size requirements of the final product is the basic step for subsequent processing:

 

Flame cutting: Suitable for thick plates (usually ≥10mm). It uses high - temperature flames to melt the metal and blow off the slag. It has low cost but moderate precision, and is suitable for structural parts with low requirements on dimensional tolerance.

Plasma cutting: Applicable to medium and thin plates (with a thickness of 1 - 100mm). It melts the metal at a high speed through a plasma arc, with fast cutting speed and high precision, and can be used for preliminary blanking of complex shapes.

Laser cutting: Suitable for thin plates (usually ≤20mm). It has extremely high precision (the tolerance can be controlled within ±0.1mm) and can cut complex patterns or fine structures, making it suitable for high - precision part processing.

Water jet cutting: There is no heat - affected zone. It is suitable for occasions sensitive to heat or requiring no deformation.
