Properties: The tensile strength of SK5 steel ranges from 585-785 MPa, and the yield strength is 430 MPa. The fracture elongation is 12%.

 

Uses: SK5 steel is primarily used for manufacturing cutting tools, springs, and other components that require high hardness and wear resistance. It can also be used for making cold stamping dies and mechanical parts.

 

Condition: SK5 steel is usually supplied in an annealed state, which has relatively low hardness and good machinability.
