High and Low Temperature Performance

High-Temperature Stability: Maintains mechanical properties between 400–600°C, suitable for high-temperature applications like heat exchangers and pipelines. The recommended long-term service temperature should not exceed 650°C to prevent performance degradation.

Low-Temperature Toughness: Retains good anti-brittle fracture capability at -196°C, making it applicable to low-temperature equipment such as LNG storage tanks and cryogenic pipelines.

 

 

Surface and Hygienic Properties

Surface Finish: Can achieve a mirror effect through polishing or electropolishing, with a smooth surface that resists impurity adhesion-meeting hygienic standards for food and pharmaceutical industries.

Passivation Characteristics: Passivation with nitric acid forms a dense oxide film (Cr₂O₃), further enhancing corrosion resistance for equipment in prolonged contact with media (e.g., reactors, storage tanks).
