Mechanical Properties

Yield strength: ≥345 MPa (the "345" in its designation, ensuring sufficient load-bearing capacity for bridge structures).

Tensile strength: 470-630 MPa (providing adequate ductility and resistance to fracture).

Elongation: ≥21% (enabling deformation under dynamic loads without brittle failure).

Impact toughness: ≥34 J at -40℃ (critical for withstanding low-temperature impacts in cold regions, ensuring resistance to sudden loads like vehicle impacts or seismic activity).

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chemical Composition

Main alloying elements: Carbon (C ≤0.20%), Manganese (Mn: 1.00-1.60%), Silicon (Si ≤0.55%).

Micro-alloying elements: Niobium (Nb), Vanadium (V), Titanium (Ti) (total ≤0.22%), which refine grains and improve strength without sacrificing toughness.
